Painting Tips
- Paint your walls, ceiling and trim the same colour but in different sheens.
- For standard drywall walls should be eggshell, trim low sheen and ceilings flat.
- For level 5 drywall and specialty painters walls should be satin, ceilings flat and trim eggshell. Satin reflects light and is easier to clean.
- For popcorn ceilings and orange peel walls use flat paint on your walls and ceilings to hide imperfections and low sheen on your trim to make it easier to clean. Or you can limewash over both or use roman clay with a proper primer.
- Doors should be the same colour as everything else but in eggshell or satin sheen.
